This policy applies to SocietyCart's customer app, shopkeeper interfaces and website insofar as relevant. It must be read with the Terms and Conditions and mandatory Indian law. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, the law prevails.

1. Official channels

SocietyCart will publish verified app links, website domains, support numbers and email addresses. Confirm them before acting on messages.

2. Never share secrets

SocietyCart personnel will not ask for passwords, full card PINs, UPI PINs or OTPs to process a refund.

3. Payment safety

Do not scan an unknown QR code or approve a UPI collect request to receive a refund. Check recipient details before payment.

4. Suspicious communications

Avoid unexpected links, fake support accounts and unsolicited remote-access requests.

5. Report and respond

Report suspected scams via info@societycart.in; contact your bank/payment provider promptly after unauthorized payment and use official cybercrime reporting channels.

6. Disclaimer

SocietyCart will investigate impersonation reports and cooperate with authorities as legally required.
