This policy applies to SocietyCart's customer app, shopkeeper interfaces and website insofar as relevant. It must be read with the Terms and Conditions and mandatory Indian law. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, the law prevails.

1. Prohibited conduct

Fake orders, payment fraud, voucher abuse, account impersonation, harassment, unauthorized automation, security attacks and knowingly false claims are prohibited.

2. Risk assessment

SocietyCart may use order, refund and security patterns to detect fraud, subject to privacy law and appropriate human review.

3. Proportionate measures

Verified abuse may result in coupon restrictions, COD limitations, temporary account holds or termination with reasonable notice where practicable.

4. Customer safeguards

High complaint or return rates alone do not establish wrongdoing; lawful consumer claims must remain available.

5. Reporting

Report suspected fraud via SocietyCart App, Email and Customer Support; do not disclose OTPs or passwords.

6. Appeals

Users may challenge restrictions through the grievance mechanism.
