Payment and Settlement Policy
Operator: MYCLOUDWISH TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (SocietyCart)
Effective date: 31 October 2026
Registered office: Gurgaon, Haryana, India
Support: info@societycart.in
Version: 1.0
This policy applies to SocietyCart's customer app, shopkeeper interfaces and website insofar as relevant. It must be read with the Terms and Conditions and mandatory Indian law. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, the law prevails.
1. Methods
Customers may pay using enabled UPI, cards, net banking, COD or other disclosed methods through authorized providers.
2. Merchant-of-record clarity
Checkout and receipts must identify the seller of goods and any separately charged SocietyCart service. Settlement flows must match actual payment agreements and legal obligations.
3. Seller payouts
Seller payout frequency, calculation, fee deductions, reserves and dispute procedures are set out in the signed seller commercial schedule.
4. Taxes and withholding
Statutory GST TCS and income-tax TDS are calculated separately when applicable, with transaction-level records and required statements.
5. Refunds and disputes
Refunds, reversals, chargebacks and payment failures are reconciled against the original transaction; parties receive accessible dispute channels.
6. COD and khata
COD collections must be accounted for. Seller-managed khata is a seller-customer credit arrangement unless a separate regulated credit provider is expressly identified.
